We had a good experience with Mana. She met us at our hotel on time and had many descriptive cards to spend time on the taxi as well in between the various attractions she took us to. We would have preferred if she interacted more instead of just walking from one place to the other and had planned the trip after speaking with us because some of places she took us to were very beautiful but did not need a guide.
Dear Amit Thank you for sending your review. Despite being in the rainy season, we were blessed with fine weather when we saw you, and the traffic was very smooth, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery. Kyoto has a rich traditional culture, especially with its thousands of temples and shrines, so please visit us again many times in the future. Thank you Mana
Mana was fantastic! She was not only reliable but also very flexible. Her knowledge of Shiga and Kyoto was incredible. Despite some changes in the itinerary on the day, she still provided excellent service. Highly recommend!
Dear Laura Thank you for promptly sending me such a high-rating review. I truly appreciate you hiring me as the guide for your very special clients for four days in Kyoto and Shiga. It was a wonderful tour for me, especially since we were able to visit beautiful places in the normally hard-to-access areas of Shiga and even attend an exhibition by their favorite ceramic artist. Thank you Mana
Mana gave my wife and I a fascinating tour of the most beautiful gardens and shrines in Kyoto. She is very knowledgable and she explained many points of interest in easily understood ways. She is charming and friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend her.
Dear Philip and Tina. Thank you very much for sending such a wonderful review promptly. Thanks to your early preparation this morning, we were able to start the tour promptly and progress smoothly without any crowds, making the tour very enjoyable. I hope the rest of your days in Kyoto will be even more wonderful than this. Best Regards Mana
We enjoyed our tour a lot, Mana was quick, so we were able to see a lot of things. She was also very flexible, so when the kids wanted to slow down and see something, she was very patient. She also spent more than 8 hours with us and said that we did not have to pay extra. The explanations for children were very interesting, and we especially enjoyed the shibori museum where my friend’s teenage daughter was given a unique opportunity to try a very valuable kimono and we bought unique souvenirs. Thank you!
Dear Nataliya. Thank you very much for the 5-star review. It was a stroke of luck that her daughter was able to wear a fully tailored “Shibori ”kimono. (She's only the second person to be able to wear the kimono since I started guiding in 2017.) I'm very happy that this has sparked an interest in Japanese culture, especially Kyoto's kimono culture, among all of you. Mana
