Dear Guest. If you are reading this is because you are interested on visiting one of the most beautiful areas of Europe, a little italian region called "Umbria". I was born here and I work as tour promoter to make sure that all the people that are coming to Italy would want to be our guests in this amazing land. I travelled a lot during my life and I still do it when I can but, as you know... there is no place like home and my home is just marvellous! I hope to meet you here. I am Graduated in "International Comunication". I speak Italian, English, French and Spanish fluently. I have 2 Master Degrees in Tourism. One as "Tour Escort" of Liguria Region 2008 and one as "Tourism Promoter of Umbria", dated 2013. I worked as tour guide, tour assistant and museum responsible for leader companies like Costa Crociere,DaVinci Machines,Ligabue Catering, Whale Safari Norway, lntrepid Travel, Flavours of Italy and Federal Group Tasmania. I currently work with Tramontana to promote and organize tours and activities in the regional park of Monte Cucco (central Italy). I worked and studied in several countries (Italy, France, England, Romania, Norway, Australia). I own the B.S.T. (First aid and fire fighting) and First aid certificate

With a university degree in History, I worked all my life in the promotion of smart tourism, trying to unveil the magic that often cannot be discovered through mass tourism's overrun tracks. First based in Sicily, then in Berlin, now in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, the perfect mix of gorgeous nature, architecture and food experiences, I offer walking excursions as well as e-bike and Vespa motorbike tours. I try hard to grow people awareness that holiday and spare time, are all but marginal part of our Life, in fact being the most important part of life, where knowledge and pleasure create happiness and good memories.

Italy

I have lived in Italy for 40 years, and thus know the culture, the people and language extremely well. I am a professional photographer and have also taught photography for many years mainly to amateurs, but also professionals. I have guided groups of photographers around Umbria, Latium and Tuscany since 1999. However, I also guide purely cultural tours in central Italy.

Trip to Mt Fuji from Shimizu Port

Yasuko was ready to chat and advise us about our itinerary through GoWithGuide. On the day before our tour she contacted me through whatsapp so we could confirm the meeting time and as a result, was easy to find at the port. She had already purchased an IC card for us to use which made catching public transport a breeze. We just had to reimburse her on the day. Using public transport was a fantastic experience and the bullet train ride was awesome. Unfortunately Mt Fuji was enveloped in cloud but the other places she took us to were great and without volumes of tourists.

I wish we could have spent several days with Kumiko.

Excellent scheduling and communication. Kumiko was at the cruise ship port waiting for us at the gate, on time and even parked close to the gate. She is friendly, charming and fun to be around. Kumiko has a wealth of information about the history of the region and local culture. She wasted no time in getting us to the ski area so we could ride the cable car to the top. We were able to visit a shrine and enjoy the view of the city. The ski area also included an museum of skiing in the area and the equipment used. Then on to a local Saki brewery for a tour and a sample. Our next stop was the railroad museum. A "must see" if you are interested in railroad history, historic steam power, and the challenges of building railroads in the terrain of northern Japan. Next stop was a local seafood restaurant where we sampled many types of fish and shellfish, both cooked and raw including the local delicacy "uni". Kumiko was able to give us a quick tour of the local fish market. She also drove to some other scenic overlook areas. Last stop was the Otaru Museum. We were back to the cruise ship with time to spare. All the time we spent with Kumiko was delightful and I wish we could have been in port longer and spent a few days with her. Thanks Kumiko!

A Half-Day Tokyo Tour

I requested for a half-day tour with Sky Tree sightseeing. Her flexible advice made our tour successful. I really appreciate her hospitality and I would definitely ask her for the next time also.

Hakone and Tokyo music tours

Leandra was a great guide, taking us to see some Funk, Hyperpop, and a fusion of traditional Japanese sounds with electronic elements. The events she chose for us based on our musical preferences exceeded our expectations. For our trip to Hakone Leandra was a great companion and navigated the winding roads of Hakone like a pro. The secret waterfall was a highlight and standing on the top of Mount Kintoki with my son admiring Mount Fuji in the distance will be a life long memory.
